Annoucement

Parents, please be aware that signing up for CRD's football camp will NOT sign your child up for the actual tackle football program. Please be sure to sign your children up during the appropriate registration periods (6/1-6/10 for returning players and 6/11-6/21 for new players) in order to be added to our rosters for tackle football!

Upon successful signup of your child for CRD tackle football, payment and/or payment arrangements with the Recreation Department MUST be made by 6/23/2025 in order to fully complete registration. If payment/payment arrangements have not been made by 6/23/2025, your child will be removed from the roster for the 2025 season--no exceptions.

Police Detail Requirments

Please read the answers below to our most frequent questions regarding when to secure a police detail:

Q: Do I need a police detail if I am just serving champagne/wine/beer?
A: Any alcohol on the premises, whether it be hard liquor or other beverages like wine, beer, and champagne, will require a police detail

Q: (Relating to the Fuhrmann Auditorium) Does my audience count as my number in attendance?
A: Yes, you are responsible for your audience's actions and behavior. The rule of thumb is that on performance/show/recital days, a detail will be required, regardless of your organization's attendance, as your audience will likely be over the 100-person limit.

Q: My family member/friend is an officer; can I use them as my detail instead?
A: No, all detail requests must be scheduled through the Covington Police Department. If you know an officer who works for the Covington Police Department, you are more than welcome to request them for your detail.

Q: How soon should I schedule a detail?
A: You should reach out to the Covington Police Department as soon as your reservation has been approved by the City of Covington. Please do not wait until the last minute to secure a detail, as our officers need ample time to prepare for your event!

RecDesk Timeout Issue Resolutions

Having trouble staying logged into RecDesk? Please read below for troubleshooting assistance.

Items to Check for IN RecDesk:

  • What Browser are you using?
    • It is recommended that you use the most up-to-date version of Chrome. Other acceptable browsers are Firefox or Safari. Microsoft Edge is also compatible but can cause a few bugs. Do NOT use Internet Explorer as it is too outdated to support RecDesk.
  • Default Session Timeout
    • RecDesk is programmed with a default session limit. If you are inactive on a session for a long period, RecDesk will "kick you out" due to inactivity (not clicking/moving through the pages).
  • How Many Instances of RecDesk do you have open on your device?
    • If you have multiple tabs open for RecDesk, this may cause issues with your session.
    • Multiple tabs open to other sites may also cause issues with your RecDesk session.
  • Navigating through the pages
    • Please use the buttons internal to RecDesk and not your browser's forward and back buttons as this may cause issues during your reservation process. RecDesk will allow you to navigate back and forth if you need to change anything using its dedicated buttons.

Items to Check for in YOUR settings:

  • Clearing your Cache/History
    • Please attempt this step FIRST before attempting the others below.
  1. On your computer, open Chrome.
  2. At the top right, click More.
  3. Click More tools> Clear browsing data.
  4. At the top, choose a time range. To delete everything, select All time.
  5. Next to "Cookies and other site data" and "Cache images and files," check the boxes
  6. Click Clear data and restart your device.
  • Firewall
    • If you have active Firewall restrictions, make sure that RecDesk is whitelisted as a website that is allowed.
    • If you are attempting to make a reservation on a company computer, your company may have restrictions turned on which will affect your session.
  • Extensions
    • Certain browser extensions do not work well with RecDesk, especially extensions that block redirections or certain cookies from saving. Check your extension's settings to make sure RecDesk is 'allowed.'
  • Devices
    • Some tablets/mobile devices may have internal settings associated with timeouts. Please refer to your device's specific troubleshooting steps to determine if this could be causing the issue.
    • We recommend that you use operating systems that support Windows 10 or later. Chromebooks are not supported on RecDesk at all.
